June	During the month of June, I finished up my last week of school, and worked on summer homework and college essays so I would have time to enjoy the rest of my summer. I also saw my friends every day to balance out the work. Finally, I drove to the beach for one day with my dad.	Fun Fact: When I went to the beach, I walked about eight miles by the water with my dad, through about ten different beaches.	Writing college essays proved to be a lot more difficult than I thought it would be.
July	During the month of July, I started dating my current boyfriend and I went to my brother's wedding in Philadelphia. I also left on July 21 for an adventure and community service trip with 18 other teens from the East Coast in Costa Rica.	Fun Fact: In Costa Rica, I went white water rafting, tubing, surfing, zip lining, and waterfall rapelling.	The wedding was a lot of fun. Congratulations to the married couple!
August	I stayed in Costa Rica for three weeks. The community service was extremely eye-opening, and the adventure trips, such as zip lining, white water rafting and tubing, and surfing, were a lot of fun! I returned home on August 10 and swam, saw my friends, and went on multiple college visits to schools such as Northwestern, Wash U, and Columbia.
